Taylor Dwarf Horticulture Bush Bean Seeds (Phaseolus vulgaris) – 25+ Non-GMO Heirloom Cranberry Bean Seeds, 85% Germination Rate, by Isla’s Garden Seeds, Great for Cooking & Small Gardens

Phaseolus vulgaris "Taylor Dwarf Horticulture"

An heirloom with deep colonial roots, Taylor Dwarf Horticulture Bean has been cherished for generations as both a beautiful and dependable food crop. This compact bush variety produces heavy yields of 5–6" pods that begin a creamy white, then mature into striking shells streaked with vivid crimson. Inside, the plump beans themselves are pale pink marbled with red, earning it a reputation as both ornamental and practical in the garden. Also known as Speckled Bay, this versatile variety can be enjoyed fresh-shelled while tender or dried for hearty winter meals. Its rich flavor and reliable productivity make it a favorite among home gardeners seeking both history and harvest in one plant.

Planting Instructions

Approx seeds per order 25

Shell beans can be enjoyed fresh from the pod or left to mature for drying and storage.

Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before your last expected frost date, or sow directly outdoors once all danger of frost has passed and soil temperatures are consistently above 55°F. Avoid planting too late, as beans require a full season to mature. Keep in mind that if temperatures rise above 80°F during flowering and pod development, bean set may be reduced.

Plant seeds in full sun in rich, well-draining soil. Maintain even soil moisture—damp but never waterlogged. Bush varieties typically support themselves, while taller pole types may require staking or trellising to withstand wind or heavy rain.

For fresh shell beans, harvest the pods while they are plump, and shell them when the beans are still tender and flavorful. The pods themselves are not edible. For dry beans, allow pods to remain on the plant until they are fully mature and papery. Depending on variety, the time to maturity ranges from 70 to 120 days.

The growing season ends with the first fall frost. Dry beans are ready to harvest once the pods are brittle and the plant’s leaves have yellowed and dropped.

Cool, Comfortable, and Worth Every Penny!
Color: Light Gray, Size: Standard
I’m honestly impressed with these pillowcases! From the first night, I could feel the difference—they stay noticeably cool, which is perfect if you tend to sleep hot like I do. The fabric feels silky smooth against the skin without being slippery, and it’s really gentle on both my hair and face. I’ve also noticed I wake up less sweaty and more comfortable overall. They fit my pillows well and don’t slip off during the night, which is a big plus. After washing, they held up great—no fading, shrinking, or loss of softness. If you’re looking for pillowcases that actually help keep you cool and comfortable through the night, these are definitely worth it. I’ll be buying more!

Extremely cold, silky, gentle on hair
Color: White, Size: Queen
This was so cold when I removed it from the package that at first I thought it would be too cold. It was as if it had been in a freezer. I really like how silky it is on my face. (I can't stand a rough feeling pillowcase.) It is also gentle on my curly hair. The pillowcase can warm up from being slept on, but a shift of just a few inches gets back to wonderful cold. I highly recommend this as an extremely cool, silky smooth fabric. These are much colder than my very expensive miracle sheets.

Freaking Amazing 🤩
I never write reviews but these pillow cases absolutely deserve one!!! These are absolutely amazing! So soft and cool! I sweat so bad every night!! I wake up and my hair, shirt and pillow are drenched!!! I slipped these bad boys on as soon as they came in, and let me tell you! They were cold to the touch, I woke up this morning and I wasn’t sweating! I thought $20 something dollars was a little expensive for 2 pillow cases but was totally worth it! We love love love them!🩷🩷🩷Hubby approved😉
