Using a Blend of:
Coco Coir, Perlite, Horticultural Sand, Zeolite, Worm Castings, Biochar

About the Fern Soil Mix:
This is a highly nutritious and well-draining mixture. Given that Fern have very primitive, hair-thin roots, sand is a very important component in creating micro-passages for the roots to crawl through. Alongside this, the doubled amount of Worm Castings with a high Coco Coir portion means this mix is fertile and moisture retentive. The Sand creates tiny pockets of air for the roots as well as superior drainage, while the Perlite scatters larger air chambers throughout the pot. The Zeolite present in the mix will also  hold a lot of the nutrients when watering, allowing the roots to feed for longer.

What Ferns want from their soil mix:
Although there are a variety of Ferns found in the household this mix suits the majority of them nicely. What ferns ultimately want is moisture and fertility. However it is also important to remember the fine structure of ferns roots. It’s important that the soil is as loose as possible (which is why we add Sand) as it allows these tiny roots to easily crawl through the pot, rather than work through dense, muddy substrate. Ferns benefit a lot from organic matter in soil, another benefit to the extra portion of Worm Castings.

As with all of our Premium mixes a population of positive bacteria, mycelium and microfauna is present in the substrate to create the potted ecosystem which keeps your plant healthy! Enough nutrients for the first 2 months of growth is also in every bag along with our specialist nutrient storage component, Zeolite.

Christmas gift for hubby
Color: Blue/Blue/Stainless Steel
Bought for my husband. He absolutely loves it. Only issue, No direction on how everything works. But he did figure it out after a couple of days playing with it.

started fogging up inside after a couple of swimming sessions
Color: Black
Unfortunately, my watch started fogging up inside after just a couple of normal swimming sessions. I rinsed it with fresh water every time afterward and dried it with a towel, but later noticed moisture building up inside, and now I have to put it in rice to pull the condensation out. On the other hand, it’s hard to find good-looking classic-style watches with tide information, so I might just keep it as an everyday accessory rather than a watch for swimming.

Great watch for a great price.
Color: Green/Green
Watch is well made and keeps time accurate. Easy to charge and just keeps going. No surprises. If you like what you see and want a solar watch go for it. Sapphire Glass too.

It was too good to be true
Color: Tan
I spoke too soon. Like with every Timex, this one was faulty, too. When the seconds hand reaches the 12 o'clock position (indicating the start of a new minute), the minutes hand should align precisely with a minute marker. That's how it should be. However, in the case of this particular watch, the minutes hand consistently lags behind, meaning it does not align correctly with the minute marker when the seconds hand hits the 12. No matter how precisely I align the minute hand when resetting the time, the minute hand eventually misaligns. Timex, I give up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: "Wow. After receiving 3 faulty, shoddily built Timex watches in a row, color me impressed. This looks good, feels good, and operates well. This is a great cheap alternative to the Khaki Field watch, IMO. The case is made of steel, not brass like many Timex watches. The glass is mineral, but here's something many watch enthusiasts don't tell you—mineral glass is more impact-resistant than sapphire crystal. Since you want a field watch to have more impact-resistant features, I'm okay with mineral glass. And here's the final bonus... the second hand actually hits all the markers. This may not be your experience, but with the one I got, it's hitting the marks perfectly. A lot of collectors obsess over specifications way too much. For me, as long as the watch functions properly, aesthetics and design are most important. And this watch has it. In person, this watch just looks really, really good. And for the price I got it at, it checks off the spec sheet too. Now, let's see how it holds up over time."
