Philodendron 'Golden Goddess' is a vibrant houseplant, highly sought after for its chartreuse yellow to golden green foliage that instantly brightens any space. Its climbing habit and vibrant colors make it an ideal plant for adding warmth and exoticism to your decor.
Origin: Horticultural selection from Philodendron erubescens , native to the tropical forests of South America.
Growth: Moderate to fast growth. It is a climbing plant that develops long, flexible stems that can be trained on a support. Its lanceolate, elongated, glossy leaves range in color from golden yellow to light green depending on the exposure and the age of the leaf.
Flowers: Very rare indoors. Like most philodendrons, it can produce an inflorescence composed of a spadix surrounded by a spathe, but this remains exceptional in domestic cultivation.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its golden hues. It tolerates medium light, but its colors become greener and less vibrant.
Watering: Water moderately. Allow the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
