Massive 12 L capacity drainage-friendly cylindrical planter with an integrated anchor for D-Shaped moss poles, ensuring maximum stability. (Moss pole sections must be purchased separately).

Designed to provide the ultimate stability and root health for your climbing plant, this planter will pair perfectly with your D-pole setup, specifically for those plants with massive root systems (Monstera and the like).

What you are getting:

  • Planter with an integrated anchor for a D-shaped moss pole connection (pole extensions purchased separately)
  • Cache plate for watering runout, with non-slip rubber feet
  • Aperture in cache for siphoning out water.

Top features

  • 30cm diameter (12"), 24cm height (9.5"), means loads of room for roots
  • Maximum drainage, with a fully meshed base
  • Light-weight, sturdy plastic; keeps your plant shelves from overloading.

Top benefits

  • Cache plate included with non-slip rubber feet (pick your cache plate colour)
  • Maximum stability, as the D-pole parts will lock directly into the walls of the planter
  • Perfect pair for your D-shaped moss pole, create aesthetic colour combinations.

Product specification

This planter provides the most stable perpendicular connection to the D-Pole sections, assembled by snapping in the face and backbone directly into the connection points provided on the planter. The planter floor is an fine mesh hovering over the drainage plate, allowing all the excess water, by-product of keeping your pole moist, to flow freely into the cache plate. Perfect for fitting a climbing plant into a corner of the room.

The cache plate is designed to provide a solid base, with 6 rubber feet to improve stability and prevent slipping.

This starter kit includes:

- Planter, 12 litre volume (about 3 gallons)
- Cache plate

As with our other products, the snap connections allow this moss pole to be endlessly extended as your plant grows, all without needing tools.

Ensure you pick your D-Shaped moss pole extensions to match!

Please check our instructions for assembly and use.

Happy to help if you're unsure - send us a pic of your plant and we can advise!

Material

All parts are made of PLA+. PLA is a 100% bio-sourced plastic: it’s made of renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane. PLA is also biodegradable and it can be composted.

Assembly

Fill the planter with well draining soil to about 1/3rd of the volume, then place your CLEAN roots in the planter and cover with the remaining soil. To pot up, build the first section of the D-Pole onto the planter, and attach your plant with the back of the stem facing the moss pole. The roots should hang into the pot, and any aerial roots should poke through the moss pole sections into the space that will be filled with Sphagnum moss. You can then fill up the planter with your choice of well-draining substrate, build the remaining extensions, and fill them with moss.

If you need further support, read our instructions, or reach out to us.

Add-ons & extensions

Keep growing your pole with your plant by purchasing moss pole extension kits. Additional modules can be attached without the use of any tools, with screw-on joints. In the same fashion, the poles may be disassembled for cleaning and reuse if your plant doesn't take to its home.

As hydrated moss can get heavy our recommendation is that you use an additional brace if you extend your moss pole past 90 cm (3 units). Your plant will be very top heavy once it reaches a certain height, so consider some additional wall or hanging support to keep it from tipping.

Get the incredibly practical Slow-Drip watering cap that drops into the top of your moss pole to make keeping the moss moist a breeze!

Filling your moss pole

Better by far than a coco coir pole, our moss poles are best filled with sphagnum moss, which will hold much more moisture: this will benefit the plant and increase the humidity in it's environment to a greater degree.

Small print

Everything we make is printed to order and lovingly squeezed out by our 3D printers at our little workshop, so there may be slight variations and minor visual defects to your products. This is just a standard feature of the production method.

Good value for price
Size: 67pcs
Great mid price plug kit, as a professional mechanic these are good for temporary fixes to get you by till a proper patch can be done. The tools are not super cheap and seem to be high enough quality to hold up.

Complete and Affordable Tire Repair Kit – Reliable and Easy to Use
Size: 67pcs
I really like this tire repair kit — it has everything you need to fix a tire at a very affordable price. The set comes neatly organized in a durable case, making it easy to store and ready whenever you need it. The case is compact and portable, so you can easily keep it in your garage, truck, or shed without taking up much space. I’ve used it twice already to fix my garden tractor tire, and both repairs worked perfectly. The tools, including the T-handle and spiral probe, are sturdy and easy to use, even for tougher tires. The plugs themselves have excellent adhesion, hold air well, and seem very durable. Everything is included in one set, so you don’t need to buy anything extra to get the job done. Overall, a highly practical, reliable, and convenient kit that’s worth every penny.
